Paradise Wildlife Park is a family-run animal park located in Broxbourne in Hertfordshire, England. Paradise Wildlife Park is home to over 400 animals, which include small mammals, paddock and farmyard animals, birds, primates, reptiles, and big cats. 3. Outdoor Go Karting - Rye House Kart Raceway

As you may well know, Rye House is one of (if not!) the country’s oldest established tracks with racing going back as far as 1961. The track is regarded by many as one of the most technical tracks to master! Rye House has seen many greats grace the circuit including Jenson Button, David Coulthard, Lewis Hamilton and Ash Sutton! 4. Broxbourne Boats - Lee Valley Boat Hire

The Lee Valley Boat Hire centre (a.k.a Broxbourne boats) is on the River Lee and is a short walk where one can take cream tea trips along the canals on a narrow boat. You can hire passenger and self driven boats. Read more about Lee Valley Boat Hire.

5. Gunpowder Mills Waltham Abbey

The mission of the charity is to preserve, manage, research, conserve and display for the benefit of the general public and of the nation at large the historical and archaeological heritage of the Royal Gunpowder Mills, Waltham Abbey in the form of ancient monuments, listed buildings and the natural aspect features and bird, animal, tree and plant life. 6. Broxbourne Walks - Tow-path

Why not take a scenic walk along the tow-path. Cycle trails extending some 15 miles into London along the picturesque Lee Valley Canal tow-path, New River and Broxbourne Woods provide the weekend visitor with a wide variety of interesting pastimes.

7. The Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club

The Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club was designed by Jack Niklaus II. The golf course is situated in ancient parkland between trees and water and has lush beautiful fairways. 8. Broxbourne Sports Club

9. The Spotlight Theatre

The Spotlight theatre caters for 1360 standing and 566 seated guests. The theatre is a short 10 minute walk from our B&B. A bar service is available and you can purchase snacks and drinks. 10. The Hertford Regional College

The Hertford Regional College is a short 5 minute drive by car and 13 minutes bus ride from our B&B. It was formed from the merger of Ware College and East Herts College in the early 1990s. Today, the College is based at two sites in Hertfordshire at Turnford and at Ware.
